Marshelle Johnston
Law Clerk & J.D. Candidate at the University of Wyoming
Marshelle is a law clerk at Lantz Law Group, a role she chose because of her love for traveling, learning about different cultures, and sharing the business knowledge she gained from starting and growing her own small business. She is passionate about being part of a firm where her contributions truly matter and where she can actively support its growth. Marshelle always dreamed of building something impactful, and that dream first took shape when she founded MJ Fit, a women-focused gym in South Denver, where she developed skills in business development, client relations, problem-solving, and team leadership. Her journey has since evolved into the legal field, where she thrives in the firm’s innovative and collaborative environment, combining her entrepreneurial spirit with her growing legal expertise.
Outside of work and school, Marshelle enjoys hiking Colorado’s 14ers and has summited 5 of the 58 peaks. Her passion for travel inspired her interest in international law; she has explored 13 countries, mostly on solo backpacking trips where she stayed in hostels and immersed herself in local cultures. When she’s not traveling, Marshelle spends time with her two pups, Stella and Porter, who occasionally visit the Denver office!
